From 1976 till present,  Emil Kapelush has designed over 250 shows in major theatres in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and other theatres in Russia, Georgia, the Baltic countries (Riga, Vilnius, and Tallinn), Switzerland (Zurich, Bazel-1993,1995), Great Britain (Manchester-1994), Bulgaria (Sofia-1990, 1993), Germany (Hamburg-1999), Finland (Helsinki-1998), South Korea(SeŠ¾ul-2003, 2006, 2011), USA (Miami-2005, 2006, 2007), and China (Shanghai-2005). 
He has also taken part in numerous international theatre projects and festivals in France (Avinion-1992, 1994), Germany (Berlin-1992), Great Britain (Manchester-1994), South Korea (Seoul -2003,2006,2010), Germany (Stuttgart- 2004), France (Nice- 2004), Norway (Oslo-2006), Poland (Torun-2008), the Czech Republic (Prague-2007), Finland(Helsinki-2009) , Italy(Rome-2011), etc. 

1999 “Golden Mask” prize winner for the best stage design
1997, 2006  “Golden Soffite” prize of Union of Theatrical Arts Winner
1994 Prize for the best stage design on the Theatre Festival in Manchester, etc.
